Me…in my words
I am passionate, deep, and simply complex—a dreamer of big dreams, a maximalist at heart, and a lover of beauty in all its forms. Fashion, color, texture, and meaning are not separate parts of my life; they are how I move through the world. My heart has been broken and remains beautiful, always in pursuit of what makes life more meaningful, joyful, and alive—often found in long, soulful conversations with people I trust in my foxhole.
Once upon a time, I was a business owner who became a life coach and yoga instructor—roles I still find deeply fulfilling. I have raised two incredible daughters: one who continues to walk beside me, and one who now watches over us. Following the loss of my daughter Sydney in December of 2016, my life was forever reshaped. In navigating this new reality, I wrote and published multiple books, created scholarships in her honor, and slowly learned how to live forward while carrying love and grief together.
Art emerged as both sanctuary and saving grace. Painting became a place where I could listen, feel, and respond—where color could speak more honestly than words. Colors are interpreted through feeling, and that matters to me. My work is bright, layered, and in motion because my life—despite loss—has been filled with love, laughter, and joy. I choose to honor that truth in every piece that leaves my brushes.
Pennsylvania-born and currently residing in the picturesque town of Lancaster since 2019, my husband and I restored a small historic home and transformed surrounding uncultivated land into an outdoor nirvana—magical gardens and quiet nooks designed to escape noise and return to presence. Our daughter Aubrey also lives in Lancaster, and I am deeply grateful to have her close.
At my core, I am always becoming—an artist, author, mother, and seeker—using color, movement, and beauty to turn lived experience into something that can be felt, held, and shared.

My Belief
My Creative Process
Before I begin, I clear the space — and myself. I meditate to quiet the noise, reset the energy, and enter the work without agenda.
The painting does not need my control; it needs my presence.
Each piece begins without a fixed outcome. I build in layers — intuitive marks, structural elements, movement, pause. I respond rather than dictate. Color becomes language. Texture holds memory.
Tension and harmony are allowed to coexist until the composition finds its own equilibrium. What remains is not decoration, but evidence — of energy processed, structure softened, and life reorganizing itself.
These works are not manufactured. They are revealed.
Dreaming an even Bigger Future
I dream of continuing to paint and explore the ever-expanding world of art—of finding galleries that share a similar vision and value depth, meaning, and connection. I hope to travel, to place my work in new spaces, and to continue evolving creatively through experience and dialogue.
Beyond the canvas, I am called to help others access their deepest feelings and sense of presence through coaching, yoga, and art. These practices are interconnected for me, each offering a different doorway into awareness, healing, and self-expression.
Looking ahead, I envision expanding my creative world further, including a future line of yoga apparel featuring my artwork—where movement, color, and intention intersect. I believe deeply in dreaming boldly and living into those dreams, allowing them to unfold with patience, trust, and possibility.
