Belonging

Belonging is an expression of gentle return—the quiet shift from searching for where we fit to feeling at ease where we are. Soft layers of color drift into one another, while traces of earlier marks remain visible beneath the surface. Nothing feels completely fixed, yet there is a sense of settling within the movement. For me, the work speaks to belonging not as a place we arrive, but as a growing comfort with simply being present in our own lives.
